Amoebaworks · Accessibility

Built for everyone who needs to use it.

If a site is hard to use, it isn’t finished. That goes for this one and for every site we build.

Our standard

We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

We design and build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

In practice that means readable color contrast, a clear heading structure, descriptive alt text, labeled forms, visible focus states, full keyboard navigation, and respect for reduced-motion settings.

How we check

Tools first. People second.

We test pages with automated accessibility scans, then check them by hand: keyboard only, at 200% zoom, and with a screen reader.

Accessibility is part of how a page gets built, not a pass at the end.

Known limits

Where we don’t have full control.

Some features come from third parties, including our booking calendar, embedded video, and social links. We choose accessible providers where we can, but we can’t fix their code.

Some older case-study pages are still being brought up to the same standard. If something gets in your way, tell us and we’ll get you what you need another way.

Client work

The same standard goes into what we build.

Every site we build for clients is designed and built to WCAG 2.2 AA. That includes forms, member portals and directories, along with documented testing and a list of any third-party limitations before launch.

Tell us

Found a barrier? We want to know.

Email [email protected] with the page and what happened. We’ll reply within two business days.
